What is the difference between LEGO Technic and LEGO Icons?
Technic often focuses on mechanisms and engineering-style construction. Icons includes detailed display models across many subjects. Functions and included equipment depend on the exact set.
Choose by the experience you want
For working gears, steering or moving assemblies, read the Technic set’s feature list. For a recognisable display model, compare the finished dimensions and detail of an Icons set. Neither theme guarantees motors, remote control or batteries.
Before buying a vehicle
Check whether it is a static display, manually operated model or powered set. Do not infer remote control from a vehicle image.
